Rules Scoring League Players
Slade Fantasy Football
Rules

The rules are slightly different this year so make sure you read through them before picking your team.

This section will help explain how each of the scoring actions can be achieved and are judged on. The decision of the Slade Fantasy Football board is final.

Team selection
Your team must comprise of 11 players using a formation of 4-4-2 and must not exceed £55 million. You have to pick at least 3 players from the senior squad and 3 players from the Under 16's squad. If you are one of the players featured then you have to pick yourself in the team as well.

A players position
A players position is decided by each manager at the start of the season and is what appears in the players profile. A player can only have one position.

Appearances
Points are given to players based on the amount of time they spend on the pitch. A full game is constitutes of playing the full 90 minutes, should a cup game run into extra time it will be any player who played 90 minutes in regular time.

Playing part of a game constitutes either being substituted within 90 minutes or coming on as a substitute at any point in the game.

Assists
An assist is awarded to the player from the goal scoring team who makes the last pass before a goal is scored

If during the pass, an opposing player significantly alters the speed or direction of the ball, then no assist is given except if this intervention results in an own goal.

If a goalkeeper does not have control of the ball and parries a shot or drops a cross or the ball rebounds off the woodwork, the attacking player shooting or crossing the ball receives the assist if a goal directly ensues

In the event of a penalty, the player, the player earning the penalty gets an assist if it is successfully scored, but not if he takes it himself in which case no assist is given. No assist is given for a player who earns a free kick which results in a goal

Clean sheets and conceding goals
Keeping a clean sheet or conceding goals points are awarded whether you played any part in the match regardless of if the player was on the pitch at the time.

Bonus points
The best performing player in each match will receive additional bonus points.

Player performance will be assessed by the players, who will vote after each game.
